For most of my life, I poured from an empty cup. As a single mother, a classroom teacher, and an educator with a doctorate in education, I spent years giving everything I had to others and calling it purpose. It was. But somewhere in all that giving, I lost the ritual of filling myself back up. Tea became my pause. My permission. My daily act of self-restoration.
